Britt Clark is originally from rural South Carolina. She has been working with metal for over 12 years. A passionate advocate for tradeswork, Britt believes that working with your hands for others, not just yourself, teaches individuals how to connect beyond dissimilar walks of life. She is grateful for her craft as a means of transcending labels, using it to focus on her truest self: someone who works hard everyday and never sacrifices her personal integrity. Britt strives to imbue every job with a sense of honesty and thoroughness. She specializes in metal fabrication, welding, blacksmithing, and design.
James originally from Winston-Salem NC; taught the importance of good craftsmanship and the value of having the right tool for the job from a young age. He has spent his entire life being curious about how things work and how they are made. This has carried through his work over the past 20 years finding creative solutions to complex problems and collecting more than a few tools along the way. He specializes in metal fabrication, woodwork, and design.
Nestled in lush farm land of rural South Carolina, Yonder Metalcraft’s shop was created from Britt’s late grandfather’s tractor storage. Here, the heritage of hard work is steeped in every corner, and we intend to honor the makers on whose shoulders we stand by upholding our principles as craftspeople, focusing on the intermingling of industrial and natural worlds.
